Internet on the iPod touch

Last week I got a new iPod touch, and I love it. I especially like being able to view the Internet as I would on my computer. The one problem I've had though is that a handful of websites redirect me to their mobile website automatically (CNN.com, NFL.Com, time.com) the thing is is that I don't want the mobile site. Is there any way to circumvent this? I know time.com and facebook have links that take you to the normal sites, but what about the ones that don't? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
