This should probably go in there.

Edit: Also, the build looks pretty good. It's better than my new computer

I was going to go in there but the title said something about it not having to do with gaming.

Yeah, so games themselves aren't discussed.

There is a whole thread devoted to system building though, and most of the machines in it are gaming machines.

This is more or less the same as the rig I built a couple of weeks ago and I'm extremely happy with it.

That's awesome to hear ^_^. Does it run all games smoothly? How long do you think it will last without needing upgrades?

    I hope quite a while. Here's my spec. - Corsair 2x2GB DDR2 800MHz/PC2-6400 XMS2 Heat Spreader, Asus P5Q P45 Socket 775 8 Channel Audio ATX Motherboard, Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 (3.16GHz) Socket 775 Wolfdale 1333FSB 6MB L2 Cache, PowerColor HD 4870 512MB GDDR5, Clrmster CM690 Case, 1TB HD Drive SATAII, Xonar DX 7.1 PCI-E Sndcrd, Vista Home Prem. Corsair 550W

As you can see not miles from yours. It runs everything I've thrown at it (UT3, Spore, STALKER, GRID etc) very smoothly.

Should it run WAR smoothly? Man I wish I had Sys Req for DCUO so I could compare.

WAR being Warhead? Yes of course. It ran the Crysis demo smoothly and Warhead is better optimised.

I would recommend against the Logitech G9, I heard the mouse wheel was hard to click and generally not very nice. I would probably recommend against the G15 keyboard too as I see no huge reason to have a LCD in your keyboard at all.

Then again most people love both those input devices :/

The demo wasn't as demanding as the full game. No idea re Warhammer online, but would imagine it would - the graphics on Warhammer don't look particularly challenging.
