What did the 1920's give us? Why:
PROHIBITION
Actually, that wasn't so much fun. We hadda put up with 13 years of that applesauce.
But the SPEAKEASIES were fun.
Flappers, fine tomatoes I tel ya, danced the night away. If you were lucky you'd get to see a knee or two.

Oh, and then there's first real scifi movie, born about 1927
But the 1920's greatest contribution?
