The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
I saw that advertised at Maverick's when I was walking by the other day and decided that a Watchmen themed prog band would be the best/worst thing ever. I have no idea what that band is though.
Just saw Oasis. What a disappointment of a concert; absolutely no ability with the crowd. On the plus side, Ryan Adams was awesome, and that's who I went to see.

vsove, did the Gallagher brothers at least get into a drunken slap fight?

I kept hoping, and hoping, but alas, they were temporarily on speaking terms.
Though when they went to Toronto, a fan came up on stage and punched one of them in the face, so apparently I wasn't the only one disappointed with the concert.

You should have thrown a half-empty beer bottle at Liam and then pointed at Noel saying "He did it!"

I've got TV on the Radio tickets for October 23rd, and I'll probably go see Conor Oberst the week after. Girl Talk the week after that.
Hideout Block Party is this weekend but I couldn't make it. Sets from Ratatat, Le Sac vs. Pip, New Pornographers and Neko Case. I'm pretty disappointed.

On a side note: what venues are you guys looking forward to?
Come to the Rainbow on Oct. 2nd. Show starts at 9 p.m., $8 cover at door. It's in the market. You can watch me molest a musical instrument as my band rocks out.

That's the day after the anniversary of my arrival to this plane of existence. Chances are I might be rather hung over but I'll be damned if that will stop me.

Would you be weirded out if a random lurker walked up to you, touched you in strange places and said, "i love you larlar" and other sweet nothings in your ear?
I just saw GBS in Manhattan last week. I wasn't overly excited for the show because their new album hadn't really grown on me yet, but damn... honestly, I've seen them 8 times now, and this was one of the best shows they've done.

Might go see Amanda Palmer on December 3rd, and maybe Juno Reactor on September 26th.

The only future show I know I'm going to is We Are Wolves at Maverick's on Oct 18th. They are so good live.
also I'll probably be seeing Infected Mushroom at Heaven on Nov 23rd, because a good friend of mine is the opening DJ

i haven't been to a show in a while. i'd like to see these Tsunami Bombs now. My newfound obsession would be complete.
