So I got new RAM and decided to reformat and start XP anew. I install XP and start up my com, only to realize, doh, I forgot to get the drivers ahead of time. So I log onto my girlfriend's laptop, and start googling around, searching for drivers. Now my google-fu is decent, but I couldn't find the drivers until AN HOUR AND A HALF LATER. It was buried in the motherboard's pdf manual with seemingly no other copies on the entire internet. Happy I found it, I go transfer it to my desktop, but now the install exe shuts down after the "preparing the InstallShield Wizard" progress bar. I'm at the end of my patience and am wondering is my motherboard (which is no longer in production) useless? What do I do?
Specs follow:
MB: Machspeed MSA2-6100V
vid card: PNY 8800 GTS
4 GB RAM
integrated LAN: Realtek RTL 8201CL
I am seriously at a loss.
EDIIT: Without these drivers, I cannot have sound or go online. Sigh. No one has any idea why this install is failing?

Use that to get online and get the rest from Windows Update.

Man I was excited. But it looks like these are for Asus boards? I haven't seen that site before though. Gonna have me a looksie.
EDIT: And now the driver section of that site is down for me. *Sigh* God doesn't want me to play Crysis.
Bad luck! I guess the site is having maintenance right now or something. Also the realtek drivers should work for any mobo. It's not like this mystery meat company you bought a motherboard from made special realtek parts, same with asus.

It says it's missing a NIC file?
Hmmm... gonna try to reinstall windows again. Maybe something went wrong. If that doesn't work I'll try again in the morning
EDIT again: Sorry inf files. Still don't know what that is.
