I'm in the need of some help. I looked through the art help thread, but it's so huge that it would take be forever to go through the whole thing. I've designed a logo in PS because I'm very familiar with PS's Pen tool. Now, I imported this image into Illustrator thinking the Pen Tool would be exactly the same as PS's pen tool. Well... I was either wrong or attacking this thing entirely the wrong way. I've been looking for tutorials online, but they aren't telling me exactly how the bending of lines work. In PS, I would just add a point, and then pull and slide it to the perfect shape/curve. In illustrator, you can't (or I don't know how) pull an ancor point the same way you do in PS. In Illustrator you grab it and it forms a line, you manipulate this line to for a curve... this is foriegn to me and I'm not getting the hang of it. There are also different ways to make lines such as curved, sharp, ect. THere is an attribute box that allows you to control this, but I have no clue how to access this attribute box. Now, I've only be fooling around with this for like a hour, but I'm getting nowhere fast. Can someone explain how to simply trace this logo I created with the pen tool, or any tool for that matter in illustrator?

yes, the pen tool is a little different and a little less mind-breaking in illustrator.
no, you usually can't transfer between the two, because aps is a raster program, and ai is a vector program.
But uh yeah... you simply get the pen tool, click where you want the line to start, then click and hold where you want the line to end. Whilst still holding, you move the mouse around the manipulate the line's curve... Once you've deselected it, you can use the white selection arrow (not the black one) to move and manipulate different points on your line... if that's what you mean...

P.S Why do all your lines of text finish before the actual width of the page? Are you actually manually hitting the "enter" button when you get close to the end of a line? The text gets automatically formatted for you anyway, it's not a fucking typewriter you know. But I guess that's expected from a noob like you who isn't even able to read text on a page coherently, let alone type it.
