360 XBLA Game Save Issue

I recently bought a new 360 because mine went in for repairs and I didn't want to wait. So today, I went to go play Castle Crashers but, my characters were gone. I checked Braid as well, and all my puzzle pieces are gone as well. But, when I go into Puzzle Quest my characters are in there. I tried the whole redownload the games and that didn't bring my CC characters or my puzzle pieces back. I checked my HDD, and the save for all the pieces in Braid is there. Is there any way I'll actually be able to use those saves?

Did you recover your profile from Xbox Live? Did you use the license transfer application?

Your Castle Crashers stuff might be gone for good. There's a bug in it which can erase your data in certain circumstances and they're working on a fix, but on that front you're SOL.

I think the Braid thing is due to the DRM they use on games. If you go to http://www.xbox.com/drm and use that tool to transfer your licences, after a redownload of the game it should work fine.

Just remember that that license transfer is a one-a-year thing. No going back to the repaired 360 (at least until September 2009).

Yeah if they don't replace your 360 you've more than likely just shot yourself in the foot.
