I own a small business that deals with sarcastic and satirical merchandise. Basically, we deal with humor that is video game related. We take our designs and get them printed on shirts, then try to sell them to retail outlets and over the net.
Basically, I'm looking for artists to do satirical designs for us. If you are an artist that has a design already, and think that we'd be interested in it, I'd be very willing to talk also. We want to expand our current line, and are looking to do it in any practical way.
We are also looking for possible web designers, as I'd like to upgrade our current site to something more appealing, and anyone who knows how to deal with integrating merchant accounts with ZenCart (a free shopping cart program) and Google's merchant account.
Just for sake of being upfront, don't contact unless your serious. We are a business. Also, for sake of honesty, if you have art that we like, we are looking to purchase all rights to the images off of you. You would be considered a contractor, and be paid for your services. There is a contract involved that needs to be signed by you. I'd be more then happy to e-mail someone a sample of the contract if they want to see it prior to any negotiations. I don't like surprises, and I don't like to surprise people. It's bad policy.

If a mod could get back to me on this, that would be appreciated, as I would like to show people exactly what kind of images we deal with.

Look, I read the rules. The rules don't say anything about not being able to hire artists, so I'm not sure what your issue is.
I never said my idea was a new one. Hell, there's a ton of other sites out there that do Gamer Humor. I'm not trying to re-invent the wheel, just trying to start my own business.
We're not looking to make crummy "Woot" shirts, we're looking to delve into humor that is a little more focused. And we don't just want to do shirts, we'd like to do all sorts of stuff.
If you have advice, legit advice, I'm more then willing to listen. If you have ideas, art, or criticism, I'm all ears. If you just want to rant about how I don't read the rules, and not tell me what I did wrong, then more power to you.
