if you really want to know

to download HD trailers from apple you need to take the streaming link and add an "h" before the part with the resolution. the best way i can come up with to take that link and make it so i can save-as it is put it into a post and hit preview. i accidentally clicked create though.

    :(

Most browsers let you download the file behind any URL in the url box. In Safari for Mac OS X, you just paste the URL into the location bar, hold option, and press return.

I don't have my PC handy right now, but I know I've done the same in Firefox for Windows. Try Control, Alt, Shift, whatever.

I'm pretty sure that's not a Quicktime setting.

Just take the url, paste it in Safari's location bar, and hold option while you press return. The file will not play, it will download. So will requests ending in .html, .jpg, .mp3, .mp4, anything. I promise.

That sounds cool, but I can't figure out how to do it in Firefox for Windows. If anyone knows how and can tell me I'd appreciate it.
