Both screens are touch screens? Isn't that basically screwing everyone with a DS currently?

First company that releases a game that uses both screen simultaneously, I'm punching someone in the cock.

It's nintendo, what else is new

they will screw over there consumers because they think everyone will buy yet another ds for no reason, I hope this backfires big time especially if both screens are touch.

Yeah, you're right. Nintendo has a long history of screwing over their customers!

    Oh wait.

    No they don't.

    You're just retarded.

O wait they do, how bout the lack of storage solution on the wii? or how bout releasing a new ds with dual touchscreen and you think that's not gonna screw over the consumer?

your retarded if you don't think that, man stupid fanboys.

Yes, because anyone who isn't a dipshit must be a fanboy.

What do you want them to do, never release a new system ever? Get the fuck over it.

And your justification for saying they screw over their customers is pretty damn weak.

    Find another thread to troll.

Well your a dipshit and a fanboy, so it works good.

I don't see how you can think this is a good idea with the dual touchscreens, It means companies will have to release either two versions of their games or just kill DS lite for no reason.

It's a stupid move but of course since it's nintendo it's alright.

That's the worst part of this.

    You're right.

Any time a company has released any sort of add on or change for a system it's required multiple versions of the same game.

yep. This happens all the time.

Man why'd tube remove eyeroll. It was the only response to shitheads like this who live in a world all of their own making.

Hmmm, time to unload the DS before the general public figures out what's what.

This is actually a pretty good idea. Most of the general public probably won't really know anything about it for a bit. Get some money back on the Lite to use against the DSi. I don't even have any GBA games to worry about anyway. And if the DS Channel has GB/GBA games like a GB VC then there's no loss really.

Yes, let us all sell our Lites and GBA games, and use that money to buy a new system that is no more powerful, and then use that to rebuy the GBA games. Only you can't resell these new versions, and they're at the VC's ridiculously inflated price levels.

What? That's fucking crazy. You'd have to be out of your box to think this is a good idea.

    really?

5-10 dollars for a full game is ridiculously inflated? I'm guessing you were one to bitch about Braid being $15 on Arcade too.

    God people can be stupid.

Yes you certainly can be, and in fact, you've been a complete fuckwit throughout this thread. Braid at $15 is fine, that's a new game. The VC is selling old games. On my PSP, I can buy about a dozen different discs, Like Mega Drive Collection, or the EA ones, for about £10-£15, and get 20 games or so. And considering there are no new development costs, that's what I'd expect, to pay less. The VC takes that concept, and also removes the shipping cost, but charges more.

I've got this fantastic idea. It's called, "If you don't want to spend your money on any of these things, you don't have to." Nintendo has put a price on things. People are willing to pay that price. You're not. Speak with your wallet, don't yell at people who are paying a trivial price on a hobby.

I just want to say: I fucking called this.

Like, for at least two years.

    I fucking called this shit.

I've seriously been saying for the last two years, to various people, the new ds should:
    - Eschew the GBA slot for a SD card slot
    - ..that plays MP3s, AACs, and MP4s
    - ..as well as have game downloads from an online store, accessible through wi-fi connection to a Wii or the Internet
    - And a camera on the back.

The only thing I got wrong was the screens. I predicted a larger (widescreen) top screen, as well, with widescreen toggles for backwards compatibility, like the GBA had with GBC games, a la:

    2mi0nrr.jpg

..but who knows, maybe that's coming too. :D

It's because two touchscreens is just a stupid move from nintendo because games that require two touchscreens are going to require this new system especially when this is just an upgrade DS.

that's the issue, it's not a new system it's an new DS, it's going to split the marketplace and just a bad thing overall.

That's not Nintendo's fault. I could draw comparisons here to Sony forcing a new format on the PS3, but we don't need to get into that shit.

That would only be worth a comparison if Sony brought out a new PS3 that used something else instead of blu-ray, that also didn't work on the old PS3. 3rd parties are not going to want to reduce their markets by using a 2nd screen that most of the system owners don't have. They would have been better off keeping the 2nd touchscreen feature for a more powerful DS successor, rather than using it as an SKU upgrade to an existing system.

    - Punch-Out

It's quite comfortable, actually. And I have fairly big hands. Your fingers will probably touch on the back of the thing, but otherwise it's a very nice handheld. The small screen it lit extremely well, so that's not really a problem as far as I'm concerned.
