Bomberman is a pretty groovy video game about blowing stuff up. It's still one of the best games to pull out when lots of people are around.
A new online Bomberman was released on WiiWare yesterday. It supports up to 8 people (4 remotes, 4 GameCube controllers locally) and 4 people can get online using one Wii. It's going for 1000 Wii points aka 10 bucks. Anyone else get it and wanna play? Usual Nintendo friend code nonsense applies. I can list those up here if anyone is interested.
I've been playing it for a little bit and it seems pretty good. Nice number of stages and modes and all that jazz.
I hear there is also a version of Bomberman that's been on Xbox Live for a while. I don't have an Xbox so I don't know anything about it but maybe some people wanna play that one.
Or just talk about blowing things up.

You must have missed the memo. All WiiWare games have to look like crap, visually. It reinforces the "we're too good for pretty" hivemind.
I do like the Mii additions though.

Revenge is shooting bombs from the sidelines, hitting someone gets you back in the game.
i never had the thing that you needed to save shit so i couldn't customize my guys
tried to play a couple ranked games
each one ended with things going all crazy (not in a good way) for a long time
and then getting the message that I'd lost communication with the other players
