The Time Has Come, The Walrus Said, to [Chat] of Many Things
So I went into Eye of the Storm last night for the first time. It was really sad. I mean I know I'm on a PvE cluster now and all, but it really was pathetic. One Alliance guy even capped a point for Horde, so that we can "lose faster."

Yeah, that seems to be the trend. I've noticed that the way to win a BG is to ignore the shiny, retard-attractor in each map.
In EOTS it is the flag in the middle (cap three and you don't even need the flag)
In AV it is the Frostwolf Graveyard (It sits there all open and no one guarding it, so some special person is bound to cap it before the relief hut)
In AB it is the Blacksmith flag (Cap the surrounding three and guard, and you win)
In WSG it is the middle area (capture flag to win, a durr a durr)
I can't believe I just typed that, but these are the things I notice. ):

From the horde side (not the alliance) in AB the Lumber Mill is the most important point to hold. But the blacksmith only slightly less so. Based on lines-of-reinforcement and run distances the gold mine is the worst to go for early and of course running over to the stables is just fucking stupid.
For AV the "big shiny" to avoid is trying to cap the stables.

On Icecrown? You don't have to be 70 to do EotS?
And yeah, the Nightfall Battlegroup is full of muppets. AB is so frustrating sometimes, but it's still my favorite BG. AV is a win 9 times out of 10, so it's good for honor farming. The rest of the BGs? Better get ready for your one token per game.
Unless you do premades.
And even then, some Alliance premades lose to Horde pugs.

This is, if you'll pardon the gross generalization, because Alliance players are all sissies that just want to play with paper dolls.
The strange thing is I see Horde do monumentally stupid things in BGs. I'm a fucking Paladin. I am fucking hard to kill. Why am I being FF'd by like six Horde that take 20 minutes to kill me while all the people with me rape them from behind? I don't know. But yeah.

It smells terrible and tastes awesome. How is such a thing possible?
EDIT: What's this? I beat everyone else to the new thread? Not possible!
I feel that way about almost all luncheon meats
actually most of them taste awful too
I would never indulge in something as déclassé as base continuity.
You're so elitist.
the "no true scotch man" fallacy.

Gabe largely refuses to read anything that doesn't have a spaceship on the cover
The listerosis doesn't help the taste either.
It is an embarassment to us all!

In Glasgow the ratio was the other way around, so it didn't feel quite as silly.
