Here is a description of me reading the page with the big twist (seriously do not click this if you plan on enjoying this book and you should read it dammit.)
Why are they crying and rolling around on the ground? That seems rather---OH MY GOD IT WASN'T A SIMULATION HOLY COCK

I totally didn't see it coming, yet should have. But I was so focused on the red herrings about
The Buggers either not existing or already being dead and it all being a ruse to fight the russians.

    Yes this was a good book.


    I haven't read the others in the series though, and my reaction was basically the same as yours.

    I am also aware that, as a nerd I probably should have read this classic long ago but sometimes I'm behind with shit. I got a friend catching me up.

    He said "Ender's Shadow" is really good.

    It was probably the only big twist that I ever read in a book or story that took place MIDSENTENCE. Like I was halfway through the sentence when BOOM MY BRAIN.

    Seriously. I read it on my librarians recommendation and I was like, "This is good". I just thought it was one of those books you read on a whim from a writer no ones ever heard of.

    Orson Scott Card is working on the script right now

    Wolfgang Peterson was supposed to direct it for the longest time, but he dropped out

    Now Card says that the designs in the Ender's Game comic that Marvel is doing will be used for the movie

    I'm not trying to insult you or anything, its just...Well, I suppose I was somewhat excited for Advent Rising at the time I read it, so I knew who Card was and about the book. I can see how you wouldn't know.

    I've gotten all the way through the Bean stuff and I liked that and for Ender I think I got partway through Speaker for the Dead or Xenocide, whichever one came later. Too much of the talking trees/monkeys and religion

    as for the movie, it's been in development hell for a long time, naturally because it's hard to find good child actors for this kind of stuff. Wolfgang Peterson was going to direct it for the longest time
