The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
So, the wife and I have an alarm clock bought prior to when the DST rules were changed, and it has a chip inside programmed to change the lcock time by an hour on the specific dates that DST was going to be for the next few yesrs, based on the old schedule now not in use...
Was wondering if someone could enlighten me and remind when this would've happened under the old rule, I know it was in October, but I don't remember if it was the beginning or the end of it... And since it's fall BACK, I'd like to find out so we don't end up late...
So, when would the original fall back have been, so I can fix our alarm clock ahead of time and be ontime to work...?
# In 2006, daylight time begins on April 2 and ends on October 29.
# In 2007, daylight time begins on March 11 and ends on November 4. [New law goes into effect.]
# In 2008, daylight time begins on March 9 and ends on November 2.
# In 2009, daylight time begins on March 8 and ends on November 1.
So, the old system was the last Sunday of the month then... Thanks... I know what the new system is, the bulk of our devices now all auto-sync with the newer timezone settings, except for this one clock which will auto adjust to the old one, so last sunday of the month means October 26th is the day I wanna set our alarm forward an hour so its automated system ets it back an hour, then back another hour when the actual time comes.... Apparently the following week... heh...
