Hi everyone! I am a longtime PA reader, but have never posted in the forums before. Sadly, work and school pretty well ensure that I am limited to the strip and the front page posts.

Anyway, I have a question about something. About a year ago I won a one-of-a-kind PS3 from VH1. Unfortunately, the economy is hitting me pretty hard and I am forced to sell it. My question is whether or not it would be kosher to provide a link to my ebay auction? I really want someone that cares about games to get the console and I honestly don't know where I would find a better group of gamers. I figured the PA forums would be a great place to get word out about the auction so that those who would appreciate it will possibly see it.

So, is it cool to make a post about that? If not, that is totally cool and I will drop it. If it is cool, I will make a new thread. (if something like this should go in a different forum, let me know.) I basically just don't want to disrespect the community.

    Well the best thing you could do is to put it in your signature, but other than that it doesn't fly very well here. So put it in your sig and make some posts (probably in other threads since this one will be locked) and maybe you'll get someone to click on it. Otherwise it's sitewhoring.

    Sig it and make a thread about the proper etiquette for advertising your auction on a forum. Make sure to make references to your sig.
