I was just wondering, is there any intention of backward-porting some of the new engine and content features introduced in episode two into episode 1?

    Yes, that is the plan as soon as EP2 ships. There is more work than you think getting ready for a launch ;)

    Of course, everyone will just be able to download the new version with the new features. Those with the console versions may take a bit longer as title updates require a somewhat involved process.
