Selling A Car.

Alright, so the time has come to sell my car. The problem is I've never done anything like this before so I want some advice from ya fellas.

Now, I want to sell this in the most effective way possible. Should I use an online site like craigslist or a paper like autotrader? What do you all think?

Basically, can you guys tell me the steps i should take in selling the car? The only thing I want to rule out, off the bat, is parking it somewhere with a sale sign in it. It is a cadillac, and while it is not new, I would not trust it to the whims of local RUFFIANS.

Thank you!

Figure out the bluebook value of your car. That's a good price to go off of.

I've sold 2 cars on craigslist. The only problem is you'll get 50 phone calls, 2 people will show up, and only 1 will make an offer (and it will suck).

    YMMV of course.

Just include lots of details on the car and pictures.

Also check both KBB and NADA for the value of the car.

I've already done the bluebook part, and gotten a rough price. So craigslist will be a lot of phonecalls. What about Autotrader or any other options?
