    Why do snake owners always feed their snakes with dead mice/rats? Why not give the mouse a sporting chance? And enjoyment from watching the snake choke the life out its prey is the only benefit to snake-owning that I can see...

    I never understood the point of reptiles/fish as pets unless they were outside in a small pond kind of thing.

    my AP US history course went in depth in some of the battles. I forget which one it was, but one featured a massive tree that was cut down by the gunfire. Grant was referred to as a butcher after one battle because he kept his troops continuously engaged with the confeds. The textbook he had made it sound like they were two solid blocks of troops sort of circling each other and constantly firing

    i know shit about napoleonic wars though

    There is no such thing as a sporting chance. There is only mercy.

    I don't feed live because A) I don't enjoy watching animals eat live prey and B) The mice can fight back and cause long term injury.

    That's not my dog, just a google-fu dog. Our house is a boxer house, with a mix of german shephard and a tiny jack russell in the mix.

    This, however, is my dog. I call her a cowmoose because she acts like she is a mix of the two. Her actual name is Belinka (Binky for short)
