Halloween costume ideas...

So I was going to be the joker, but everyone is doing that.

I'm trying to rack my brain and figure out something new, but I'm turning up blanks.

Maybe Two-face??

What are some other suggestions?

I'll take ANY idea. Last year I saw a guy dressed up as a bloody tampon (I was Ryu)...

Any suggestions from pop culture/video games/cool movies/something rediculous and funny.

You could be someone from Watchmen, if you're a fan. This Halloween I'm going as Rorschach... not that difficult to make, since I already have the trench coat, fedora, and the rabid conservatism. Just need to make that funky mask. Imaginably, some of the other characters would be more difficult.

I thought everyone would be dressing up as the Joker as well but it may not be the case. I've been to three costume parties so far and I've been the only joker. I've also gotten a lot of compliments on being very scary. I thought my costume looked rather cheesy but people seem to love it.

I'm pretty sure more people are going as Rorschach than they are as the Joker, actually, thanks to all the Watchmen hype.

You're running a bit low on time for something complicated, unfortunately, otherwise I would totally recommend some Fable II, Mirror's Edge (were you a girl), or Dead Space action.

Casual

I'm going as zombie Santa Claus, all you need is a cheap Santa outfit (so you can tear it up a bit) some green face paint and a load of fake blood.

I think you should go as Charlie the Unicorn from the youtube film. . . if you can pull that off, that would be amazing. Carry a map to Candy Mountain.

OR go as a Keebler Elf, and give people keebler cookies . . . everyone will love you.

My brother (lives in Tennessee) is going as Jack from Jack in the Box. If you are unfamiliar with it, it is a fast food chain on the US West Coast.

Jack in the Box is pretty widespread - at least, I've eaten in one in Florida. I'll give up another vote for Rorschach - very easy to pull off!

Me and my friend went as the Rock Em' Sock Em' robots to a party last week. The head would even flip back when they were hit. We were the hit of the party. 8-)

If you have a girlfriend or a close female friend, you can always go the couple route, gender swapped. My girlfriend is going as Spider-Man, I'm going as Gwen Stacy.

If you want to be the Joker but you're worried that everyone else is doing that, be Nurse Joker. It's actually easier since all you need to do is find a nurse outfit and some facepaint. The I Believe in Harvey Dent pin may be harder though.
