The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
This time we are working on getting you the details sooner. Our intention is it will be on Steam as soon as possible and our goal is within two weeks of launch. We will let you know the exact date as soon as we know it.
Cool thank you. I waited for the first episode to hit Steam, I don't mind waiting for the second. I imagine I'll be busy with Fallout 3 for a while anyway
no, this must be where it saves if you have the hothead version. I've already tried this. There is no AppData folder in my user/username folder. it's just contacts, documents, etc

Edit: I have vista
I'm not on Vista myself, but maybe the folder is hidden. Is your computer set to show hidden files and folders?

This was the problem. I thought it was on that setting, but it wasn't. Appdata popped right up. Thanks
That's really annoying. Why would you have a setting to hide information from yourself?

Microsoft thinks that normal users can't be trusted with that kind of access. One of the first things I do when I install Windows is unhide everything.

I didn't have any issue. When I loaded ep2 it recognized my char from ep1 even though ep1 was Steam and ep2 was not. It was done automatically

Enjoy! Official announcement will be made next week.
I looked at the front page of Steam's store this morning and did not see it.
I will buy it tonight though!
And I don't have to work at all tomorrow because of the holiday! Woooooo!
