Well my gaming group is back to the dungeon of graves. we had such a great time our first tour of it in 3rd edition we just could not pass up the revamped ultra dead 3.5 edition. last time took us two years to finish, i think i went through 9 character before i made my unstopable lizardman, and even he died three times in the dungeon. any one else play this modual?

its tag line is that its not the biggest dungeon ever built but its the deadliest. i personaly have never seen a dungeon as huge as rapan. everything in the modual is cheesed out and high powered with tons and tons of treasure after the first couple levels. preety much to sum it up it gives tomb of horrors a run for its money in the tough department. the entire modual is based around a 500 mile area that goes deep underground with a huge beastiary of creatures and tactics.
    Spoiler:
    [spoiler:76e2393f08]
the main goal about rappan athuk is stoping the orcus priests from bringing there dark god over. and of course at the end is the avatar of orcus himself.[/spoiler:76e2393f08]

even after the main mission which will take a long time to complete the entire modual is still full of nook and cranies, stories and just insane stuff for the characters to take on when they get epic. this time we started out with all exaulted characters, one of our members didnt make it to the game and my cleric lead the group to the first TPK of the game. most people hate dieing in games but rappan lets you apreciate a good character and lets you try out stuff you wouldnt otherwise probably dish out. this modual is not for DM's who are weak stomached because this modual is killer and many players will die till they get the hang of the modual or make ubercheese characters.

Is this the 400 page hardcover dungeon? Or is that something else?

Ah, this was that other dungeon.
Alderac Entertainment Group is planning a number of major new releases for August, including the largest d20 release in history, the World's Largest Dungeon, which will retail for a record $99.95. Slated to be between 800 and 1,000 pages, this massive book will include nearly 1 million words and 100 maps. Every monster in the SRD is included.
