Pidgin AIM Group Chats?

Does anyone here use the Pidgin (GAIM) Instant Messenger? I've been trying to find a way to start a group chat amongst specific friends on my AIM account, but I can only seem to find a way on Yahoo and MSN friends.
Any chance someone knows how?

Just go to Buddies --> Add a Chat. Then click on the new chatroom to open it, and go to Conversation --> Invite to invite others. All done.

In the main window: Buddies -> Join a chat (enter chat name)

Then when you're in there, click Conversation -> Invite and then whomever you want to call in there.

God I hate that in Pidgin. It's even worse in other open source IM's too. They really need to integrate group chats into the regular convo windows. An invite button somewhere would be nice.

Eh. Under the hood, the official AIM client does the same thing, it just randomly generates the chatroom name.
