How deep is it? Cutting it out might be an option.

It's on the surface, pretty much. Not too deep.

Well, try cutitng it out right under the glue.

I mean it's either that or replace the carpet piece.

I know some stores sell industrial solvents for adhesives, don't know how effective it would be, or what the side effects on the carpet would be, though.

Call the company. You can get solvents at any hardware store, used in paint thinners and shit.

I'd be concerned that the solvent will destroy your carpet, either by fucking up the color, or eating it.

get a comb and a scalpel.

You better be damn sure it won't do anything to the carpet before you put it on there.

If you wanted to try and dissolve it, it would indeed be wise to test a small patch in a closet or some other unseen place.

Thanks the tips, guys. It sucks because I was trying to bond together plastic with plastic, which I later found out didn't work so well.

...bonds fucking fantastically with carpet, though.

Yeah Gorilla Glue is made for porous materials (i.e. wood), it won't help with plastic. Not much consolation now, but I'd recommend a cyanoacrylate (super glue) next time.

Super glue has shitty sheer strength though. I think Gorila Glue now makes a glue for plastic.
