i've got a paper in my computer sci course asking "what is a clowd" and I have no idea where to begin ... there isn't much literature out there except for seth godin's blog ...which is a good starting point. anybody have any ideas or quasi-knowledge on it?
So what I guess I'm saying is that you should answer "A clowd is a horrible travesty of a word by some random internet person that decided to make a portmanteau of crowd and cloud, making himself look like a silly twat and totally being laughed at and utterly deserving of immense amounts of ridicule."

just found this ... some SUN engineers use "clowd" internally, anybody work at SUN by any chance :S ... still a weak source
It's amazing how often you can use that definition.
For a field like computer science, where ambiguity is, essentially, the Devil, you'd think they'd know better.
A portmanteau of cloud and crowd. Like people collaborating on the interwebs.
So it's like cloud computing, but retarded.
You'd better be careful tossing things around like that. If it catches on, you'll be responsible.
Oh my fucking god. You win the internet. Game over.
