And cheapassgamer has been collecting game deals, with a couple new interesting ones to look at.
Just a heads-up. You might want to give them a call first before you go heading out there on Friday.
Pokemon Safari - Sneasel, Pawniard, ????
Yeah, should have mentioned this, I had the same problem with the store I was going to go to so I ended up having to go a bit farther to another one.

Where'd you find the Dead Space sale?
NM, found it: Target. They actually have some of the best game sales I've seen for Black Friday.
And if that's the model I think it is, that's a fantastic set and a great price - probably $200 or $300 off the best I've seen it. I have the 1080p version of it.
At 50" I really wouldn't go 720p. That's big enough to make 720p look fuzzy.
That's what I thought too. But it's a really nice TV, especially at that price.
Philips' online outlet is having a huge sale
I got a 42" 1080p, 2ms response time, and 29000:1 (or something peculiar like that) tv for 800 + tax.
edit: refurbished, but still.
edit edit: you can still look, but it appears as though the better tv's are out of stock. It won't show as out of stock until you try to submit your order.
Where'd you see that? Sounds too good to be true. The best PS3 deals I see on bfads or cheapassgamer are $399 for a PS3 and a couple of games/movies and/or free shipping.
it's the Amazon Vote thingy they do instead of Black Friday sales.

From the looks of things, it's going to be $200 for a PS3, Little Big Planet, and the Blu-Ray version of the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy. However, you have to sign up for the deal, then you have to get lucky enough to be picked, and finally you have to be lucky enough to actually purchase the deal before it's sold out. It's more like winning the lottery than anything else.
Steam ID : rwb36, Twitter : Werezompire,
If this is true, I'm totally going for it.
Thanks, worth a shot for a half-price PS3.
Its very likely there won't be anything left at all by then. If you get there late as in 10am your likely to miss out on anything fantastic.
Go LBP Bundle!
Do you mean 360, or regular xbox? Cause Gamestop is having the regular xbox for like 29.99

This year, however, I need multiple hard drives. Does newegg do black friday?
And it's pretty much impossible to actually snag one of those deals unless you are in the same room with the fucking server.
Agreed. I'm surprised there are not more bundle deals being offered for the PS3.
Being only 500 people get the chance to buy the Amazon PS3 LBP bundle deal out of, oh we'll say 5,000,000 or so who voted, I wouldn't hold your breath.
360.
Fuck it, I'll just buy him one today.
Best Buy has a TB external hard-drive for 120 bucks.
I'm going to Wrestlemania next year and figure this is as good of a time as any to buy a camera for that.
"Uhhh... music?"
I'm going to disagree with this, as I've had my 50" 720p for about 17 months and not had any issues with it. I am fairy easy to please though. I would agree that this is the breaking point of fuzzyness, and I would not buy even a 52" 720p without getting a heck of a deal.

Not at all. As with everything, there are far more factors to consider before you can make a simple judgment like that - distance to the TV, quality of video source, etc. I ran my PS3 and 360 at 720p on a 57" tv and it never looked fuzzy. I now run them on the 1080p version of this TV, albeit in 720p, and they still look amazing.
If this TV is within your budget and you can get in line for it, don't pass up on this deal.
They'll be offering Wii Fit for $78.84. Both online or in-store. (You'll have to do some scrolling to find it.) It's not much of a savings but I'm sure it will still draw some shoppers.
The catch is that you already need to be a member of Sam's Club before Black Friday to get the sale price.
I'm not sure if anyone here would be interested in this at all (I have to admit that I'm not interested) but I thought I'd pass it along anyway, just in case.
EDIT: They also advertise $11 Blu-Rays, but don't mention any specific titles. They also have some HDTVs on sale ($798 for a Philips 42-inch widescreen LCD that supports 1080p), but I have no idea if the prices on those are any good.
