I have gotten yet another "HEY WE JUST GAVE YOU A FREE MONTH OF ACCOUNT TIME, PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO US" email.

But, there was this little nugget:

Coming in November, you will be able to fight the Battle of Echo Base pitting your skills against Imperial AT-ATs by piloting snowspeeders or chasing down Rebel scum in an AT-ST. Join this epic battle and earn fantastic rewards.



I have always liked the JTL flight system so the concept of a land-based implementation of the flight system WITH AT-AT's sounds too awesome to be true.

Does anyone actually play this game anymore? Can anyone attest to how good or shitty this new battle is?

    Sounds like they're finally moving the story forward a bit, but I think it might be too little, too late.

    I tried this once and ended up stuck piloting some ship for a good ten minutes with absolutely no obvious way of escape. I promptly logged off and never returned.

    I'm probably still out there somewhere, floating in a shitty little spacecraft, Han Solo shouting at my lifeless corpse...

    This was my experience too. I was stuck is some crappy fighter thing spiraling wildly and opening fire on random objects that may be friend or foe. I never played passed my little trial account ending.
