Laptop sales?

I'm considering purchasing a new laptop, but I was wondering if there is usually some Christmas related sales on them, either before or after Christmas. I was thinking with the economy being the in its current condition retailers might be forced to cut prices. Anyone know previous Christmas trends or heard anything about this year?

    Check out Slickdeals. They have laptop sales a few times a week posted on their front page, as well as things in their forums. It's a general purpose deal site, but there's quite a lot of technology product that gets posted. If you're waiting for a ridiculous deal and don't mind suffering for it, Black Friday is the way to go (assuming you're from the states).

    Yeah I live in the US and know about Black Friday. Problem is the I usually am traveling and seeing family during it. That and people go fucking crazy during it. Might wait for it though.
