All new 3D graphics plus original 2D graphics – swap back and forth on-the-fly

    2D mode looks awesome and old school.

    3D looks pretty terrible and pointless.

    I thought R-Type was done, wasn't Final supposed to be the last game?

    It looks like a pretty decent remake, but I've got the originals on my ol' arcade machine so I might give this one a pass.

    I think it's kind of a cool idea for anyone that hasn't had a chance to play those games. Since they botched the emulation on the PS3 download version of R-Type Complete, I might pick this up.

    Sweet!!!! My only question is WHEN?

    I have very fond memories of the original in the arcade - I can't tell you how many quarters that game pried from my grasp. This is so bought'd once it comes out!

    I love shooters, hence why I love dreamcat soo many good ones. Too bad i dont have an xbox otherwise these would definatly be part of my collection.
