I am running out of movies to watch that are freaken weird (and by that i mean like End of Evangelion weird or 2001 space odiessy weird or twilight zone weird.


Please suggest something before I hang myself.

    Frank herbert enjoys his own "spice" making this one a bit trippy. 4hour extended version fits better with the book and doesn't suck as hard. Harkonnens are creepy as fuck. as well as the guild navigators.

    Kinda cheezy but a virtual world thingamajig which really talks about
    eliminating crime. Pay attention to the newspaper in the final scene.

    And if by "weird" you also intend to include "sick" or "shocking," anything by Troma (Toxic Avenger/Re-Animator) or the first two Evil Dead flicks (the latter are not as bad as the former).

    And yeah anything by Cronenberg if icky body mutilation is something you find fascinating. The Fly and Scanners are probably the easiest to stomach that are in that genre.

    Oh what the hell was it... "A Boy and His Dog" I think? Early Don Johnson, crazy post-apocalyptic shit going on.

    And the Tommyknockers TV miniseries was pretty bizarre, now that I think about it.
