I'm working on a graph for a psychology lab report. I had it all prettied up and set up exactly how it had to be. Then my partner sent me his data to work into it. when I tried to graph his, no lines would come up, just markers. I fiddled around in the data series options and stuff but I just can't get the lines back. I just opened up mine, which was perfect, and now its lines are gone too. I did not make any changes to my original.
I have tried restarting excel, my computer, etc to see if it was just a graphical glitch, but it appears not to be. Please help, the due date is Wednesday and a graph without any data displayed on it is not much of a graph at all.
Also should mention, the data is still technically there because if I turn on Markers it shows the points (only problem is I can't use markers in APA format)

Also, if it matters, he made his in Excel 2003.
Maybe the line color is white? Maybe the chart style got screwed up? All kinds of screwy things go on between Office 2007 and 2003. Try making it again from scratch. If that doesn't work, and you are really getting close to the deadline, go find a PowerPoint file with a line graph in it, and open that up and just change the data points to represent your data set.
I make all my charts in PowerPoint rather than Excel, so I'm not really sure, but I wouldn't be worried about missing your deadline. This shouldn't be a tough fix.
