The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
Lately, I've been having a lot of downtime while I'm at a computer (work and school). What I'd like to do, is to use this time to learn something like Latin or math (or at least the very basics!) .
Anyone know of some good sites? I can't really bring a book, so the course/info would have to be 100% online.
I can bring paper and pencil though.
wiki is good, but seems limited.
I tried MITs open course ware, but it seems to have a lot of "holes" in it. For example, they have all the lecture notes, but don't have any info from the book. So without the book it seems most classes on there aren't enough.
This site might be good: http://openlearn.open.ac.uk/ It's really slow for me though and keeps timing out. Also the interface is kind of clunky. I'll check again in a bit and hopefully it won't be so slow.
