Marvel and Dynamite! are collaborating to bring everyone's favorite undead slayer and everyone's favorite undead together. Army of Darkness/Marvel Zombies is a miniseries being penned by John Layman that spins out of the current Army of Darkness series (which is going on hiatus for the length of this series). The story is a prequel to the Robert Kirkman-written Marvel Zombies miniseries.

    YES.

There simply is not enough Ash in my weekly diet. This should do nicely.

You know this'll sell well just like the last one, but this might actually be fun to read in less of an "over-extended joke" kinda way.

What pro-logue? We know the thingy came down three days before. Where exactly would this fit in continuity?

    Seriously though, go Ash!

    Well, if I'm not mistaken...

[spoiler:f3a98d606a]A Zombie Sentry punched his way into the main "Marvel Zombies" universe. So, I;m guessing this series, as well as Kirkman's prequal one-shot, takes place in the first zombie universe. [/spoiler:f3a98d606a]

It occurs inbetween the Ultimate FF issues and the Marvel Zombies mini. Which means

[spoiler:72e62c8780]that Ash doesn't kill any of the main marvel zombies since they all "live" into the mini, unless he uses ones that weren't shown in the mini. This is an over-the-top crossover though so it shouldn't stick to any sort of continuity, just be a stand-alone with a bunch of marvel zombies all over the place[/spoiler:72e62c8780]

The poster confuses me. Why would they eat zombies? Didn't Marvel Zombies establish that they're basically rotting corpses and thus inedible?

i take issue with Storm being only an appetizer. i'd consider her a main dish with a side of tiramisu.

It would be pretty neat, but I can't exactly see that happening without casualties arising and it'll be lame if nobody significant dies when that's clearly what should happen.

I just wish that was an ongoing. Then we could've had an issue were Wolverine kills Jimmy Fallon when Fallons laughs at himself for the 8000th time.
