Movin' my user profile (Vista/7)

CyvrosCyvros Registered User regular
Until now, I've been using some of the various Registry methods to shift my entire User folder from C:\Users\Cyv to D:\

I was just going through the Local Users section of Computer Management so that I could enable the Administrator account. I decided to go into the properties of my own user profile, then checked the Profile tab.

I'm interested in the function of the "Profile path" and "Local path" fields. The help file says that if left blank, as they are now, the default path (e.g. C:\Users\Cyv) is used and that I can specify the user profile from here.

So, just to double-check, can I use this as an (almost too) easy way to change the path to C:\Users\Cyv to D:\?

Thanks for any help.
