Car Insurance and the Deciding Thereof

For years now, I used Farmer's for my car insurance, but I'm considering switching. I have to pick one of them in the next week or two before my current 6-month insurance runs out, so time is of the essence, but I wanted to do some research and compare my experience with others first. What does everyone here use? And where do you recommend I go for more information?

You know what? Nanowrimo's cancelled on account of the world is stupid.

I use USAA, they are great. Unfortunately, your parent has to be a member first, or you have to be in the military to get it.

I have progressive and have been happy with it for 5 years.

I would suggest just going to various insurance websites and getting quotes to see how much your plan will cost with the same coverage from each. Progressive, Geico, State Farm, Allstate, and Esurance at least will all give you coverage quotes online.

If it's of any help Progressive's rates are astounding... at least from my personal experience compared to other online car insurance companies. I was paying more than double for Geico. Once I checked Progressive, and saw they were literally giving it for 50% less, I jumped ship. Definitely try their estimating feature.
