Posting Links to my webcomic?

Is there a section where it's OK to post a link to my webcomic? Artist's Corner didn't really seem to apply as I don't focus as much on the art as I do the writing. There are now 20 comics on display. I would just like to let some people know here that it exists in the hopes that I can make them laugh.

Also, if I write a comic that I think is particularily funny is it OK to post the occasional thread about it? Say once or twice a year? If not I understand, I just don't see anything in the Artist's Corner FAQ that addresses this type of self-promotional linking.

I'm no mod, but generally the practice is to put it in your signature and maybe as your website in your profile. Active advertisement is typically looked down upon.

You can put a link in your sig. If you're just posting to advertise your webcomic (i.e. obviously postwhoring), we will ban you for spamming.

It should be noted that if you do want art or writing critique that you're well within your rights to post in Artist's Corner or Writer's Block as long as you abide by the rules there. This could well help if you have a comic due that you're not quite sure about, for example.

But yeah just saying 'hey here's my comic' isn't really how we do.
