Weird problem that I should go to doctor for

On the off chance someone might have experience with this issue, I have some swelling occuring in the very edge of my right nostril, like the bottom of it actually. I just want it to go away. Anyone know anything I can do?
Yep, this. I've had them happen inside my nose before, when I was younger. It sucks, but it's probably not a doctor-needing issue unless you're confident that it's more serious than this.

Sounds like a pimple to me. I hate that shit too. Hold a warm washcloth to it for a little while and give it a few days, then I'd say see a doctor.
Unless you have any severe allergies, then go see a doctor NOW.

And it seems like all is dying, and would leave the world to mourn
I'm having a hard time visualizing it what you're talking about (no pictures, please! ) but it does sound like either a pimple or an ingrown hair. If there's anything else you want to share that would make us think otherwise--if it's more like a blister, for instance, or it's turning funny colors--or if you do have allergies, consider going to a doctor. Otherwise all I can do is empathize--everyone's had a zit near their nostril at some point. I once had one inside my nostril, which I did not realize was possible before.
Even for allergies, it sounds too localized to really worry about. If it was associated with a rash, maybe, but I've never heard of an allergic reaction showing up in the form of an isolated pimple.
Hope for your sake you don't have a runny nose before it clears up - even with the nice soft tissues with aloe or shit in them, you'll probably end up rubbing it raw.

Thats what it sounds like. I HATE getting them there, because they usually get pretty enflamed, sore, and just all around bothersome.

My wife had one, turned out to be a staph infection and we had to go to the ER. That wasn't a fun day...
Face cellulitis is such fun. At least it didn't kill me I guess.
Damn I hate staph (especially in the nose).
