Audio clicking in DVDs

Ok weird one here. Whenever I play back DVDs through Media Player Classic I get this awful clicking sound in the background. It does this on all DVDs so it's not the disc. I unistalled all my codecs and reinstalled them. Still no luck. All my other audio including video files is fine it's jsut the DVD. Any ideas?
