Tam your style is what I want today's cartoons to look like. It seems like it would lend itself well to animation. At least as far as this guy and the other pseudo-realistic dudes you have been drawing go.
I was just about to say, your style would be pretty good for cartoonist work. Something I personally would collapse and die if I had to do personally.
Looking good WCK. Just try to use more confident lines. Less scratchy going over 5 times lightly before committing bullshit. 1 stroke! If it's not perfect, try again!
I personally like the baby albert einstein with the paper boat hat.
edit: actually most of tams work I like, which is something you don't really hear out of me talk about my own preferences of all the art people here much asides when I blurted it out to someone in the chat thread, or wakkawa, a while back. Except.. When tam tried to detail a face a while back, that made me vomit on myself a little.
Tam: i love the style of these sketches, i'd love to see you take one of them to completion and incorporate it into an illustration or something. Reminds me a lot of the Triplets of Belleville
Tam, I am making a collage of your sketches, printing them out...and hanging them on the wall for inspiration. And there is nothing you can do about it! Bwahahahahaha!

Tam, is there a place where I can buy a miniature copy of you? I'd put it in a box, feed it cheese and get large quantities of fantastic sketches in return.

Tam you could make a killing (read: a wage that you could survive on) as a political cartoonist, most of those guys suck arse and you'd blow them out of the water with your intrinsic awsomeness.

Boy, oh, boy. Tam has been taking over the Doodle Thread lately, has he not? Why, yes. I do believe he has. So ends my self contained "Tam lays the smack down on the Doodle Thread" conversation (a possible future Doodle Thread title, mayhaps?). Thank you for patronage. As an added bonus, I'm sure that Tam has more awesomatic displays of awesome for you to look at...in awe.
Also, Tam, these are pretty nifty. You had best keep it up.
trying to eeever so slowly create a backlog of comics, so that when I eventually start a site I'll have a buffer in case crippling depression slows me down
Man, I wish I didn't have to go to sleep earlier these days. Thanks again guys. I don't mean to sound ungrateful for the extravagant praise, but please do try to leave tips as well.
Fletcher, you could probably cut out panel three and move the title to panel four. You'd have to scale the title of course.
the one thing that i would say to work on tam is when drawing profiles, you tend to make the mouths or lips extend backward alot farther than they should, its as though there all in a constant grimace, so I would suggest just shortening the length, or at least not make them extend past their eyes.
I also say its time to start taking some of your work to the next level and scan them, and work on them digitally. You got so much creative room to do with this it would be interesting to see what you can come up with.

Can you remember which one it was or what it looked like? Detailing is always something I have trouble with.
