I'm looking for software that does organizing with appointments and calendars / addresses etc for my mom's Blackberry, I don't know anything about them so I thought I'd ask here.
Not sure what you're asking exactly. The calendar/contacts organizer is the primary function of a Blackberry out of the box, what are you wanting that you don't already have?

Google has a thing to sync the Blackberry with your GCalendar.
Pretty much what Infidel said. What, exactly, are you looking for outside of the address/calendar/appointment features that are standard with every blackberry?
In addition, for folks who don't attach to a BES (Blackberry Enterprise Server), you can use Blackberry Unite! to manage the device(s) remotely. The download page is here. And for more info - Getting started (pdf).
This is really for managing and sharing calendars, etc. Not sure if this will help you. Regardless, what MichaeLC stated pretty much covers it.

I don't believe it - I'm on my THIRD PS3, and my FIRST XBOX360. What the heck?

Otherwise, use Outlook.
