360 controller issue?

This probably doesnt deserve a whole thread but i couldnt find an appropriate place to ask.

Got a new 360 controller today after having my old 2 for 2 years now, and it was immediately obvious that the shoulder buttons (not the triggers) feel really mushy, whereas my old pads have a definate click to them. Is this just a feature of something they have changed in newer 360 controllers or should i take it back?

It's supposed to be clicky. Try replacing it?

I have a controller with one clicky bumper and one really mushy bumper. I hate it, and rarely ever use it.

No, its not supposed to be that way. I'de take it back and say its faulty.

Also, at least with mine, it makes the button harder to push since pushing from the side doesn't work. Only if pressed directly from the top.
