I'd disagree with Dman. I like it. PulseCode Engineering is a fairly professional name but still has the "hip/coolness" side of it with having PulseCode be its short form. Easy to remember and distinguish from others in the business, but doesn't sound like "a 12 year old working from his parent's basement."
That's fair enough. I was mostly thinking of my current employer who is shortening our company name from three words to 4 capital letters (which people use informally anyways). Right underneath our name is what we do in small lettering (sort of part of the logo). There are certainly a few things to think about before you get business cards printed. I'd check out what computer industry leaders have on their business cards/websites before making a final decision.
If your worried about looking/sounding like you work out of a basement always wear a good suit when meeting clients. I know it might sound old fashioned or something but presentation makes a difference.
Yeah, I was thinking the official name would be PulseCode Engineering, but short-form would be PulseCode. So domains would be like pulsecode.ca, etc...
Unfortunately, PulseCode.com is taken by some squatter. Bummer.
