Christmas is coming up, and I'm looking into gifts to ask for. One thing that appeals to me is the idea of a miniature printer for my photography.
Here's what I NEED :
*Quality. If it sucks, it isn't worth it.
*Decent price. I'm not made of money, and neither are the people getting my Christmas lists.
*Long-lasting photos. If the things fade or run or anything like that, it just isn't worth it.
*PTP. I NEED to be able to print off my camera.
*Printing up to 4x6. If it can only do little business cards, it's useless.
Here's what I'd LIKE :
+Multiple ink cartridges. I'd rather not have to throw away a bunch of, say, yellow because I was obsessing over bright blue skies for a few weeks instead of deep sunsets.
+Battery pack. It'd, as the hip young kids say, "kick ass" to be able to just stash this thing in my bag and print out any really good/desired stuff on location.
+RAW support and card slots. It would be really nice to be able to print straight from the card, instead of having to run it through the camera.
+USB mass storage support. Would be way easier to just plug the camera in the old fashioned way instead of needing to switch modes or worry about support as much.
+Printing up to 8x10. I wouldn't need to go to a dedicated printshop much at all if I could get the same quality of all my prints at home.
Here's what I'd like to AVOID :
-Little contained packs of paper with ink. This is an almost criminal waste of resources.
-Weird, unsupported transfer formats. Kinda pointless if I can only print from my camera if it's a Sony from 1998, you know?
So, given these things, what're some good options for me? Thanks in advance.

I'd go with something like this
Then how about one that at least takes separate paper and ink, so I can keep going until one of the colors is dead?
