I'm mostly surprised that they didn't shove some glaringly obvious bag of Doritos somewhere in there

which makes me wonder how this is supposed to work as a promotion for Doritos

    Okay that was interesting

Rather effective at what it did

Probably more so if I had a webcam and mic and did that phone thing at the end

    Still really neat though

    Haha, I got
a follow-up phone call after I beat it

but it came like 10 minutes after the game was over so I wasn't expecting it

I picked up the phone without looking at it and I hear "you made it out, but we'll see you again... in the darkness"

and for a moment I was like what the fuck

What determines who is sitting in the back of the car at the end? I saw the maniac when I played through, but others online claim to get the woman from the camera room

I got camera woman, but I beat her easily on the first try for that chapter, while the maniac and the zombie baby took me multiple tries

so maybe it's whichever enemy you overcame the fastest?

because it was "just too easy" for them to be really defeated

I'm just talking out my ass here, though

I died to the baby and the maniac once each.

nice game, never finished it yet though, priorities, like... exam, read stuff, and online gaming, i managed to play exactly half way before i stopped. indeed it was scary at first, but turning off the sounds pretty much cripples the fear.
haha phone call, it ruins some stuff but we don't have a landline, just cellphones, can't wait to hear the voice. :D

    i got the camera girl.

    That's weird
Once you escape the room with all the photos of other people who have played, you should have to put in your number so a guy can call you and give you directions as you run down the hall and escape the building

how did you get out otherwise? I'm curious.

To answer some questions about the advertising part of it. In class we were discussing new forms of marketing influencing digital narratives. This was just a neat little side thing. But we did view www.meettheluckyones.com at length.

This is a short story told in a unique way. It was sponsored by Mitsubishi or some other car company. The advertising isn't explicit or arguably effective. At any rate we still got a neat interactive story out of the deal.

It is also a fun and interesting digital "something." Go ahead and watch/play/read it if you want but it takes a lot longer then Hotel 626.

I love advertising with no connection to the actual product

    Like this:

Anyways I haven't played this one yet because it is damned light in my room and y'all are saying playing in the dark is a good thing so I won't bother changing my computer clock.

It seemed to get less scary as the "story" went on but yeah, it is worth it for the atmosphere of the situation.

    That...was an advirtisment? Strange.
