Meeeeh I had to do this horrible HD format and lost my precious data in the proces. An important piece of that data was the NAME (yes ok I forgot the shitty name) of this certain website I once discovered lurking on these forums or on the frontpage... the memory is vague...
It was called something like "mindleech" or "brainleech" or "lifeleech" and it's contents were a bit "internet culture, handy tips and tricks to make your life (on or offline) easier" like. And it did! It linked me to that movie for folding t-shirts with a cardboard box rig.. awesome. That site was my nummer 2. "check this place every day!" intarweb hotspot, After PA that is. Also, if someone could help explain to me how the hell I managed to forget the name of such a phenomena (whats that search thingie called again? koog.. kookie kooke.. kookele?).

Guess im not a lurker anymore.

Ironically, the first result on... kookele for search engine is www.altavista.com the second being http://search.msn.com , http://search.yahoo.com being quite far on the seventh place...

There was a neat beta of MSN search IIRC where the results were added dynamically to the page while you were scrolling. Very neat, but apparently it wasn't implemented yet... or stolen, which I'd prefer, frankly.

edit: I don't know if it was already availible somewhere else, but the world map @MSN is slightly awesome, I can go from seeing whole Europe to a view of my street in a few zooms.

editedit: I think it's the smooth zoom effect that gets me, it makes it seem like the transitions are quicker
