Laptop Video on Teevee

This is one of those silly questions, one which no doubt has a simple answer.

I have a laptop. The only video out option is VGA. It has a PCMCIA slot and USB.

I'd like to be able to output a video signal to a television.

What are my options, are there any that do not suck? (My research has found only poorly reviewed VGA to RCA adaptors.

It depends on the TV. Our LCD has a VGA port, FWIW.

Sadly, televisions which can take VGA are pretty rare, I'd settle for an adapter which would go to RCA or SVideo...

Careful with VGA to S-Video adapters, a lot of them are for special notebook VGA ports that are capable of outputting an S-Video signal natively (and a lot of laptop VGA ports aren't.)
