Video editing Woes

Road BlockRoad Block Registered User regular
Ive been given the task of editing a video of the vist from a chinese delegation. All the footage is there, execpt evidently one of the tapes screwed up. Only the last section wont actually play (It would be very nice to have but can be worked around.) However when I try to put it threw Adobe Primier or Windows Movie maker it refuses to work due to that last section of the film being courupted.

I need someway to get rid of the last bit of the film so that I can make use of the rest. If any of you have any ideas it would be appreciated.

Just a quick and dirty method, you could install KMPlayer (general media player like MPC) and use it to capture (Alt-C to bring up the window) the video you have as you play it, stopping it before the corrupted section.
