So i'm kinda addicted to finding new music, and i usually try to exaust everywhere i can to find something that people love that i havent heard.

I like pretty much every genre, minus new country, pop, r&b (unless its old or awesome), umm other than that i'm pretty open - if you love it to death and i havent heard, i would like to correct this

here's my last fm top chart to get an idea of what i'm kinda into:

i know and <3 deltron (as well as the rest of the works of dan the automator and del the funkee homosapian) and kronos quartet

i will look into the rest

regarding pandora and blogmusik - i will admit - i havent been too active online lately:

as for pandora, i like hearing other people's loves instead of randomly generated based on the same style and giving them a listen and then deciding if they're awesome to me as well.
i listen to a fair amount of different music and like building a familiarity of artists in general.

but i must say pandora is quite sexy, and i like it an awful lot already - so thanks much

also, blogmusik - fairly awesome too, this could come in handy a lot

    you guys rock :D

    Streetlight Manifesto.

I second Immortal Technique, he kicks ass.

The Fall of Troy is really good if you're okay with a little screaming, musicians are amazing.

    Redfield

I plug these guys every chance I get, but they really are one of the best hard rock bands around. Great guys, incredibly hard-working, and hungry for a big break. Unparalleled live show.

You should check out Boards of Canada, if you haven't already heard them.

I'd recommend opening yourself to the wide world of progressive rock/metal. Here's some bands, with some really awesome songs listed

    Dream Theater
    - Home
    - Pull me under
    - Voices
    - Stream of consciousness (instrumental)
    - Six degrees of inner turbulence (all 8 parts)

    The Flower Kings
    - Of monsters and men
    - Paradox hotel
    - Humanizzimo

    Spock's Beard
    - any song they've made

    Sonata Arctica
    - The power of one
    - Victoria's secret

    Symphony X
    - Through the looking glass

    Transatlantic
    - All of the above
    - Suite charlotte pike
    - Duel with the devil
    - Mystery train

Keep in mind that progressive rock can have tracks that are exceedingly long, so it takes a little bit of patients to listen to all of it.
