I need to turn this date up to 11

So I'm going on a date tonight. I want it to be pretty awesome.

We are going to dinner at probably one of the nicest places in jacksonville fl. Flowers are going to be waiting on the table.

Then we have Avenue Q tickets downtown.

Now those 2 things in themselves make for a pretty hot date. But I want to push this over the top and pretty much go all out so to speak. Q gets out around 1015 which is to early to go home. So what do I do to kill 2 or 3 hours before we go home? Night clubs are an option but jax is not known for its night life (it pretty much sucks) and that seems like a pretty pedestrian way to end an evening that started out so good. (we could go to a night club any old night)

You guys always come up with awesome suggestions, I have about 5 hours till I need to leave so anything would be helpful. Your only constraints are it will be after 10pm and i'm in jax florida. Money is no option. Go nuts.

    Lemme just ask what is your goal of this date. Is it just because, trying to get laid...?

    I don't know jacksonville, but a jazz club might be a good idea. Laid back environment with live music that you can still hear each other over. Sit down, have a few drinks. You don't have to force conversation because there's music to listen to, or you can chat if you have something witty to say.

    Pull a Danny DeVito. Get ahold of some lsd and slip it into both your drinks at dinner...or maybe into your drinks at the Avenue Q. That should make for a really interesting evening.

    If it were me, I'd dress warm, tell her to do the same, and just go for a walk and stargaze.

    That's my idea of a sweet time.

    I wasn't aware I needed a motivation to have an awesome night other than just that but no its not to get laid we already sleep together.

    I just really enjoy stepping out and I want it to be awesome.

    Along the same vein, comedy club? Dunno how late those are open, but also sounds like fun.

    There is a great comedy club here unfortunately tonight jeff dunham is playing downtown (at the same time as Q) so the dude at the club is some total scrub who is not funny. A jazz club would be perfect I just don't know of any here. Like i said the night life in jax is pretty awful.

    I like to imagine that the pheez came in here to preempt posts like yours, Sheep, but you hit submit 1 second before he did. Awesome.

    I agree with the infracted guy. Not about the LSD, I mean the stargazing. I'm not sure what the weather is like there, but if the sky is clear that can be very romantic.

    You're going to have to get a ways outside of jacksonville proper to see anything besides the planets and orion. If she's interested in a 20 minute drive that might be doable.

    By the way avenue q is fucking amazing. See that shit if you get the chance.
