Does anyone know where I can find a box large enough to ship the complete set of rock band 2 in its original box? This thing is huge and I'm trying to get it to relatives. Is there anything like Office Depot that I can go to in order to find boxes large enough?
(Special Edition I assume?) Is it opened? If it's unopened, you could ship it in its original box. I'm looking at one right now, and it's as "shipping ready" as any box I've ever seen.
Otherwise, if you have all the packaging and can figure out how to get it in there the same way it was originally, it should still be good to ship.
It's going to cost $texas to ship something that big... couldn't you sell the stuff on Craigslist where you are, wire them the money, then have them buy a new (or used) set where they are?
If they live close enough to you that the postage wouldn't be too expensive, I'd recommend hitting your local mall, and asking retail stores if they have any empty shipping boxes they no longer need. Food service joints might work, too, especially relatively grease-free ones like coffee shops. When I worked at Tim Hortons up here, we got people coming in about once a week looking to scavenge the big cardboard boxes our paper cups came in, or the slightly smaller, stronger boxes that contained coffee packets.

Yeah postage isn't a problem - it would cost an estimated 18 dollars to ship out, 12 if I use UPS. My worry with using the game box is if it is left on their porch or something, couldn't it get stolen?
Pay a few bucks extra for delivery confirmation/signature required, then. If your relatives are at home, UPS will ring the doorbell and hand it to them directly; if they're not, a note will be left saying "We tried to deliver a package, you weren't here, please come pick it up at our shipping depot any time after 5pm." No box-left-on-doorstep involved; that only happens when shippers don't specify signature required, so the driver just chucks the thing onto the front porch and drives off.
