I've been in alot of retro video game stores and alot of arcades over the years. I didnt like most of the retro stores and the only arcades I liked where in Japan.
So, the Retro Duo I got for my Birthday was pretty useless because A)there were absolutely NO retro game stores in the area and
My friends blew up alot of my retro gaming stuff(Genesis, TurboGrafx, etc.) while trying to become part of the "Blow shit up and post it on youtube" craze sweeping the world.
Then I FINALLY found a place not too far from home that sold old games.
I thought it was gonna be CRAP like most of the others. But I walked in and instead of an unorganized smelly piece of shit this store was AWESOME.
"People Play Games" is a store that has EVERYTHING for a good price. Well, except Earthbound(just bought it). You name it chances are high that they got it. Game Gear, Genesis, ET FOR THE ATARI 2600...well, they did untill I bought it for two bucks.
My gamestop(last I checked) was selling a used copy of Mirror's edge for 54.99. At People Play Games it was 30 bucks. Plus, it was new. How? Because People Play Games has a Disc Cleaner on site and cleans games before displaying them. Best part: fair trades on EVERYTHING. Any game you got you can trade in no matter what condition(if it's really bad it's just put in the Ugly Bin. A bin full of games that have been abused. Of course, these games are a quarter of the price of the not-so-ugly ones.)
They got a tech guy that will fix any console(to the best of his ability) and any iPod or zune(RROD included!).
So, if youre ever in Chicago go check out People Play Games!

Let me also note that People Play Games has alot of factory sealed games. for example: A sealed copy of SPLATTERHOUSE for 95 bucks and a sealed copy of Chrono Trigger for 125 bucks.
Name any game people and Ill tell you if People Play Games has it!
